My name is Linda and Welcome into my world at History and Hats, where history and millinery isn’t just a craft—it’s a way of life.
When I was six years old we visited the palace of Schönbrunn in Vienna and there I experiences for the first time the insight that looking into this mirror someone else also did 300 years ago, on the same spot. For me it is that connection, that makes history fantastic.
Since that transformative moment, my fascination with history, dress, and interior history has only deepened. This early encounter sparked a quest to uncover the stories behind the past and share them with the world through the art of millinery.
With a background in unversity studies of both history and dress history and educated in tradtional millinery, alongside extensive experience in reenactment, I take pride in bringing history to life in the most authentic and captivating way possible. Each hat I create is a testament to my dedication to preserving the essence of its era.
